Job summary

Jacoby & Meyers Accident & Injury Lawyers is seeking a Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to join our team. The role requires a Nevada license and a minimum of three years' experience in personal injury law.

Job Description

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Draft pleadings (complaints, motions, oppositions)
• Draft and review discovery, meet and confer letters, and discovery motions
• Argue motion and opposition hearings remotely and in Court
• Take and defend depositions
• Prepare pre-arbitration, arbitration, pre-trial documents and trial materials
• Active participation in trial
• Strategically litigate cases by obtaining key evidence to work up case file
• Draft mediation briefs and attend mediation, active participation in negotiating settlements
• Regular client communication
• Assist in management of litigation assistants and paralegals
• Attend regular training for professional development

Requirements:

• Must be Licensed Attorney in Nevada **
• At least 3+ years of experience in Personal Injury Law
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills
• Highly motivated to learn and grow
• Very well organized
• Resourceful and persistent
• Communicate well in writing with attention to detail
