Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public administration or related field
• Two years of progressive experience in workers’ compensation, safety and claims management
• Knowledge of state and federal liability/workers compensation law
• Ability to prepare administrative and statistical reports
• Familiarity with claims administration and reporting requirements

Responsibilities

• Organize and administer workers’ compensation and liability programs
• Coordinate with third-party administrators and legal counsel as needed
• Maintain safety, workers’ compensation and insurance files
• Investigate accidents and prepare related reports; monitor claims
• Assist in budget information related to claims and insurance programs
