You will cultivate collaborative relationships with injured workers, agents, customers, and coworkers, maintain regular communication, assess information, determine coverage and compensability, and uphold empathy and integrity in all interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; HS Diploma/GED with 8+ years experience acceptable.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage ongoing claim activities in line with the ecovery Return to Wellness philosophy.
• Cultivate high-quality, collaborative relationships with injured workers, agents, customers, and co-workers.
• Maintain regular telephone and written communications with all parties.
• Seek complete information to manage claims and achieve favorable outcomes.
• Respond to inquiries in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
• Investigate claims to establish trust, assess coverage, and determine injuries.
• Make fair and timely determinations of compensability.
• Prepare required reports and maintain case reserves.
• Identify subrogation potential and support Return to Wellness initiatives.
