Job summary

WorkCompCentral is seeking a California-based Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney with 3–15 years of experience to represent employers, insurers, public entities, and TPAs. The role offers full flexibility: remote, hybrid, or in-office, with travel throughout California as needed.

The position pays a salary range of $100,000–$250,000 annually, plus bonus opportunities. Candidates must be admitted to the California Bar and possess strong knowledge of California workers’ compensation laws.

Qualifications

• 3 to 15 years of experience and strong knowledge of California workers’ compensation laws.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar license.
• Experience representing a variety of clients, including large corporations and small businesses.
• Trial experience in workers' compensation cases.
• Experience with case management platforms (MerusCase preferred).

Location: CALIFORNIA RESIDENT (100% remote / hybrid / in-office flexibility; however, must reside in California & be willing to travel throughout the state)

Salary Range: $100,000 - $250,000 annually (plus bonus opportunities)
