Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of workers' compensation claims from inception to resolution, including hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Advise clients on their rights and options under workers' compensation law.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, such as petitions, motions, and briefs.
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
  • Represent clients at hearings and trials before the Georgia Workers' Compensation Commission.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in workers\' compensation law and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all case activity.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.
Qualifications
