Job summary

Sedgwick, a leading risk and claims solutions company, is seeking a Claims Representative - Workers' Compensation to analyze claims, determine benefits, and ensure timely adjudication. This role supports clients with non-resident state jurisdictions and licensing requirements, offering hybrid/remote work options.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of claims management experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a willingness to pursue relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Education/licensing required or preferred as described: HS diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred; professional certification as applicable.
• 2 years of claims management experience or equivalent
• Non-resident states jurisdiction knowledge
• TX/FL or non-resident state license preferred

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process workers' compensation claims to determine benefits due and adjudicate within client requirements.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity with claimant and client.
• Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to directions promptly.
