Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
  1. Investigate and maintain claims by reviewing and evaluating coverage and liability, collecting necessary information such as reports, policies, appraisals, and statements.
  2. Work towards resolving claims, attending arbitrations, mediations, depositions, or trials as needed.
  3. Recommend settlements and reserves within prescribed limits; escalate cases exceeding authority to supervisors.
  4. Communicate complex information regarding coverage, decisions, and outcomes professionally to all relevant parties.
  5. Ensure timely and accurate claims payments.
  6. Conduct claims handling in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  7. Provide technical advice to junior staff and other departments.
  8. Potentially oversee performance and coaching of staff, participating in talent development and performance management.
  9. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Preferably hold CA certification.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Field of Study: Liberal Arts, Business, or related discipline.
  • Experience: 6 to 10 years of related experience.
