Sedgwick is seeking a seasoned California Workers Compensation Examiner to adjudicate complex claims for major clients. You will analyze claims, determine benefits due, and ensure timely adjudication within client service standards.

Responsibilities include negotiating settlements, communicating with claimants and clients, and coordinating with excess carriers as necessary. Flexible schedule and extensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• California workers compensation jurisdictional knowledge required; SIP within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze workers compensation claims to determine benefits due and adjudicate within service expectations.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity with claimant and client; report to excess carrier as needed.
