Job Summary

Perform a variety of strenuous unskilled and semi-skilled tasks under supervision.

Job Responsibilities

1. Digging, excavating, trenching, and backfilling
2. Keeping facility clean and organized
3. Building and stripping forms
4. Mixing and pouring concrete and castables
5. Performing or assisting with minor maintenance and repairs
6. Assisting in clean-up before and after maintenance
7. Adhering to all safety rules and wearing proper safety equipment
8. Meeting or exceeding safety standards
9. Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• High school diploma preferred
• Bilingual skills are a plus

Working Conditions

• Exposure to extreme heat, cold, noise, and outdoor environments
• Mandatory use of protective equipment

Physical Requirements

• Walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing
• Exerting up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, 20 pounds constantly
• Communication skills for safety and coordination
• Ability to perform all physical tasks including controls manipulation
• Must pass DOT physical including back x-ray, hearing, and drug tests
