Warehouse Associate Job Description

We are seeking a Warehouse Associate responsible for various tasks related to inventory management, facility maintenance, safety compliance, and vehicle operation. The role involves physical work inside and outside the facility, requiring attention to safety and proper handling of materials.

• Stock Management: Receive inbound stock deliveries, accurately document all materials received, and ensure timely processing.
• Inventory Control: Perform physical month-end inventories of all products, assist with reconciliation, and meet customer demand through additional inventories.
• Facility Maintenance: Keep the facility organized and clean, report spills, and assist with minor maintenance tasks.
• Storage Optimization: Store items systematically based on inventory turnover and product requirements, determining optimal storage methods.
• Truck Loading: Load delivery trucks accurately, review loads with drivers, and ensure proper dispatch procedures.
• Safety Compliance: Conduct facility and yard inspections, maintain safety supplies and equipment, and ensure adherence to safety policies.
• Equipment Inspection: Inspect storage vessels for damage or wear, reporting concerns to supervisors.
• Vehicle Operation: Drive company vehicles (non-CDL) for pickups and deliveries, ensuring proper documentation and safety procedures.
• Regulatory Adherence: Maintain compliance with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies.
• Special Procedures: Perform offloads of rail cars or transport trucks as trained and qualified.
• Additional Duties: Perform any other duties as assigned.

Note: This role involves physical tasks such as lifting, maneuvering barrels, working in temperature extremes, and possibly working at heights with proper fall prevention gear. Drug testing is conducted for non-DOT safety roles.
