Job Description:

Seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience defending workers' compensation claims, strong litigation skills, and the ability to develop effective defense strategies. You will manage a diverse caseload, representing clients in various situations related to workers' compensation claims.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Defend employers and insurance companies against workers' compensation claims.
  • Conduct detailed investigations and case analysis to formulate defense strategies.
  • Draft and file legal documents, including motions and responses.
  • Conduct depositions, prepare for and attend hearings and trials.
  • Negotiate settlements with claimants and their legal representatives.
  • Advise clients on compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Maintain organized and accurate case records and documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania.
  • Previous experience in workers' compensation defense or related fields.
