Join our team as 3rd shift Sanitation Operator at our energetic beverage plant! What you will be doing

Responsible for the sanitation program making sure that all cleaning tools and chemicals are organized.

Main responsibilities

• The Sanitation person carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable rules.
• Must meet with supervisordaily communicating any issues associated with sanitation duties.
• Ability to safely handle all sanitation chemicals / cleaning agents.
• Perform all sanitation tasks as needed to ensure quality food safe products are produced.
• Maintain daily sanitation reports recording reasons for any uncompleted task from the plan.
• Assistance will be required to ensure that Safewayfollows all government regulations.
• Ensures that daily records are maintained.
• Will assist in the organization of plant / warehouse to maintain a 5-S rating of an “A”.
• Maintains a positive working relationship with all supervisors and fellow team members including timely communication of all operational and / or safety issues.
• Start-up, operate, sanitize, and inspect production equipment.
• Ensures that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) are followed and the highest standards for quality, safety, and compliance are promoted.
• Follows all company policies & procedures as well as the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
• Follow all FDA health and OSHA safety regulations

What we are searching for .

We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience :

• Demonstrate the ability to work from verbal instructions and manuals for sanitizing procedures.
• Manage scheduled work list to maintain timely completion of all equipment.
• Complete all training as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned
• Ability to work overtime, irregular hours, or rotating shifts as required.
• High school diploma, or GED, preferred.
• Previous food manufacturing and / or Machine Operator experience preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude including the ability to use hand tools and lubricate equipment.
• Knowledge of Lock Out Tag Out.
• Ability to do basic math and use calculators.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Speak, write, and understand English.

The production worker is on-the-go throughout their entire shift, packaging beverages, sanitizing & maintaining machines, and at times, operating power equipment (pallet jack, forklift, You are a team player, collaborating with your team to complete the task at hand to keep product flowing, our shelves stocked, and America fed and healthy. • Competitive Wages - The pay $23.85 per hour, but no less than the local minimum wage. Starting rates will vary based on relevant factors including the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Dependent on length of service and hours worked and terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, benefits include, healthcare, sick pay, PTO / Vacation pay and retirement benefits (pension and / or 401(k) eligibility).
