Job summary

Monogram Foods in Chandler, MN is seeking an entry-level Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will help operate equipment along the production line, assist with packaging, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

This full-time role requires GED or equivalent, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed. You will be part of a team that supports continuous improvement and reliable product flow through our

Responsibilities

• Monitor and/or assists in identifying foreign materials.
• Notify supervisor/line leader of absences if applicable.
• Comply with all GMP policies and procedures; Adhere to all Safety Policies and procedures.
• Notify Supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
• Rotate through various positions as needed.
• Must be able to tolerate a non-temperature controlled environment with very cold/hot conditions.
• Work in various areas of production of the plant as required by production demands.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good manufacturing practices.

The production operator uses equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Work Environment

• Production areas have moderate to loud noise levels.
• Production areas are temperature controlled, which may include cold or hot environments.
• You may be required to work overtime, which may include Saturdays, or the possibility of working in another department as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work within temperature-controlled environments (Heat/Cold)
• Walk on slippery wet surfaces.
• Hand/eye coordination.
• Handling (holding, grasping).
• Seeing/depth perception.
• Walk/stand 100% of shift.
• Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Occasionally required to reach at/or above shoulder level.
