Job summary

Monogram Foods is seeking a 2nd shift Production Operator to support multiple steps on the production line. You will handle manufacturing tasks, packing, and quality checks in a fast-paced environment. The role requires adherence to GMP policies and a safety-first mindset.

Monogram Foods produces bacon, hot dogs, sausages, and more. This position includes overtime and potential rotation through different plant areas to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Punctual and good attendance.
• Good communication, math, read and writing skills.
• Able to complete Quality, Safety training.
• Able to work at a fast pace, repetitive and in a production environment.
• Ability to work in a team environment and a diverse workforce.
• Flexible and able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Production, manufacturing, or warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks involved in the manufacturing of products.
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Packing, general labor straight, and count to specification.
• Monitor and/or assist in identifying foreign materials.
• Notify supervisor/line leader of absences (if applicable).
• Comply with all GMP policies and procedures and safety policies.
• Notify Supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
• Rotate through various positions as needed.
• Must be able to tolerate a non-temperature controlled environment with very cold/hot conditions.
• Work in various areas of production as required by production demands.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and GMP.

The production operator uses equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks involved in the manufacturing of products.

Work Environment

• Production areas have moderate to loud noise levels.
• Production areas are temperature controlled, which may include cold or hot environments.
• You may be required to work overtime, which may include Saturdays, or the possibility of working in another department as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work within temperature-controlled environments (Heat/Cold)
• Walk on slippery wet surfaces.
• Hand/eye coordination.
• Handling (holding, grasping).
• Seeing/depth perception.
• Walk/stand 100% of shift.
• Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Occasionally required to reach at/or above shoulder level.
