Job summary

Focus on WD is seeking a Workday Technical Lead to own the technical strategy for a large Workday platform within the People Technology ecosystem in Culver City. The role involves security, integrations, data architecture, governance and platform optimization, partnering with HR, Payroll, Finance and IT teams.

You will lead architecture reviews, define roadmaps, ensure SOX and GDPR compliance, and manage production support and incident response. On-site presence 3–4 days per week is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise technology experience.
• 7+ years hands-on Workday technical experience.
• Deep expertise across Workday Security and Integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI, PICOF and APIs.
• Strong understanding of Workday architecture, business processes and data architecture.
• Experience integrating Workday with third-party HR and enterprise platforms.
• Experience owning architecture decisions, production support and technical roadmaps.
• Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Culver City 3 to 4 days per week.

We are looking for an experienced Workday Technical Lead to serve as the technical owner and architect for a large Workday platform and wider People Technology ecosystem.
This role will own the technical strategy across Workday Security, Integrations, data architecture, governance and platform optimization. You will partner with HR, Payroll, Talent, Finance, Information Security and Enterprise Architecture while providing direction to internal teams, vendors and managed‑service partners.
