Danaher manages Workday globally to provide a comprehensive system of record for all associates. To achieve this, we require innovative and dedicated leaders who provide strategic planning, tactical direction, team building and day-to-day oversight. The overarching goal is to build a central team with a forward-thinking operation.

The Workday Talent Management Architect serves as the hands-on subject matter expert and technical owner for Talent functional design across Workday. This role is responsible for architecting, configuring, and driving the implementation of Talent functionality and enhancements. You will leverage your functional and technical expertise to understand the requirements, business processes and contribute to the development of Talent solutions. You will make decisions about system issues relating, but not limited to Performance Review configuration and processing, Goal setup and tracking, Talent review configuration and processing, Talent profile attributes, Skills Management, Talent Optimization, Calibration, Succession planning and reports, including n-boxes. With a focus on automation and continuous improvement, you’ll work with HR cross-functionally, cross businesses and collaborate with different teams to ensure Workday is effectively managed and enhanced at an enterprise level. The position will be expected to challenge, change and affect positive outcomes for the organization on a regular basis.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Global Workday Operations and is part of our innovation driving IT Business Application Service Team. This role is a fully remote position.

Your Opportunity

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Act as the solution architect for Workday Talent, collaborating with HR, IT, and business stakeholders.
  • Lead and support the requirements gathering, design, configuration, operations and maintenance of Workday Talent module. Provide oversight for testing, documentation, and support change management.
  • Recommend and implement best practices and provide sound solutions to support end-to-end business processes. Ensure compliance, scalability, and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Continually identify opportunities to drive automation, optimize design, lead efforts to implement changes, and monitor improvements
  • Act as the Release Manager, establish release timeline and oversee key deliverables. Partner with the functional Solution Architects and COEs to define scope, prioritize, plan and implement changes and enhancements based on priority.
Qualifications

The essential requirements of this job include:

  • Deep expertise in Workday Talent module. Must have 3 years of experience in solution architecture, configuration, test management and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and systems integration.
  • Prior working experience in a multi-operating company environment with proven experience leading large-scale projects and influence without authority to promote alignment and gain consensus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Collaborative team player who demonstrates flexibility and can-do attitude as part of a motivated, high-performance team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The annual salary range for this role is $145k - $165k. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
