Our client is embarking on a pivotal, multi-year initiative to implement Workday Student. This is a chance to leverage your expertise to shape a critical technological transformation, supporting their expanding programs across the United States and Europe.

What You'll Do:

As the Workday Student Implementation Lead, you'll play a central role in guiding this complex project. Reporting to the Senior Director for Project Management and Business Analysis, you'll collaborate closely with the Workday platform owner, implementation partners, and functional/technical leads to ensure a seamless rollout. Your responsibilities will include:

• Project Oversight: Managing overall project performance, scope, schedule, and quality, ensuring deliverables meet objectives.
• Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identifying, tracking, and escalating project risks and issues, working with leadership to mitigate impacts.
• Budget & Vendor Management: Overseeing project budgets, monitoring statements of work, and ensuring the implementation partner delivers in accordance with agreements.
• Governance & Methodology Adherence: Ensuring the project follows agreed-upon governance frameworks and Workday/partner implementation methodologies (e.g., waterfall, lean, agile).
• Collaboration & Communication: Facilitating internal and external project meetings, providing clear directives, coordinating resources, and maintaining high-level communication with all stakeholders.
• Documentation & Reporting: Creating and maintaining essential project documentation (plans, RAID logs, status reports) and preparing presentations for project governance meetings.
• Daily Operations: Supporting project administration, including scheduling, meeting coordination, and facilitating document approval processes.

What You Bring:

We're looking for a detail-oriented, self-motivated, and highly collaborative individual with exceptional communication skills and a passion for higher education technology.

• Workday Student Expertise: Demonstrated experience in a Project Management role on full lifecycle Workday implementations, with Workday Student experience strongly preferred.
• Higher Education Acumen: Significant experience managing business application/system implementations within a higher education environment.
• Project Management Mastery: Sound knowledge of project management methodologies (waterfall, lean, agile) and tools, with the flexibility to apply the best method for project needs.
• Certifications (A Plus): Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certifications are highly valued.
• Technical & Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships, excellent verbal and written communication, and the ability to operate independently and set priorities.
• Tools Proficiency: Experience with Google Workspace/G Suite productivity apps (Drive, Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets) and Smartsheet preferred.
