The Solution Architect I applies deep domain, product, industry and/or solution area expertise and an understanding of client priorities to create compelling solutions that bring our value proposition to life and increase our win and renewal rate during a sales process. The Solution Architect I is client-facing and collaborates with Sales through all stages of the sales process post-identification – from introductory meetings to requests for proposals (RFP), finalist meetings, contracting and hand-off to the delivery team(s). Upon request Solution Architect collaborates with Sales to develop product solutions scope and proposals, produce client-tailored sales meetings materials, educate the client on the technical aspects and details of Strada solutions, conduct solutions demonstrations, and coordinate with Negotiations and Pricings teams to determine deal pricing and final proposal delivery. In addition, the Solution Architect I is responsible for staying current on competitors, market and industry trends, compliance developments and Strada capabilities. Solution Architects are also an important source of market feedback working closely with Strada product owners to inform our roadmap. The Role includes maintaining expertise in domain products and services (i.e., Workday) and Strada's overall capabilities, collaborating with Delivery Leaders, possessing a broad understanding of cross functional touchpoints within Workday platforms, collaborating with Sales to develop sales strategy, performing discovery and leading product solution scoping for large complex deals, facilitating client sales meetings, providing input to strategic questions, generating demand, accountable for solution costing, tailoring materials and demos, conducting solution demonstrations, documenting solutions, supporting contracting process, collaborating with other Architects, reviewing and providing input on RFP responses, creating client-specific delivery models, providing input to product owners, coordinating with business leaders and product owners, understanding competitive landscape, and more. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 5-8 years of relevant experience, deep knowledge of HCM or Financials and/or cloud and delivery models, demonstrated track record in client delivery or sales, agility and organizational skills, excellent client communication and consulting skills, proven experience in building senior client relationships, experience promoting a team environment, travel expectation of 25-50%, Workday HCM or Financials Suite expertise preferred, Workday certification(s) at time of hire and ongoing maintenance, and technical experience with Workday.
