Job summary

Vitruvian Health is seeking a Workday Report Writer Analyst to develop, maintain, and optimize reporting solutions within Workday, partnering with Finance, HR, IT and operations. This role supports cross-functional stakeholders with accurate reporting and analytics in a HIPAA-conscious healthcare environment.

The ideal candidate will have 3–7+ years in Workday reporting, strong Excel and GAAP knowledge, and a proven ability to design complex reports and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
• 3–7+ years of Workday reporting experience.
• Experience supporting Workday Financials.
• Strong understanding of GL, Chart of Accounts, GAAP and Month-End Close.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience creating calculated fields and custom reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, scorecards, Discovery Boards and calculated fields.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements.
• Create operational and financial reports supporting General Ledger (GL), month-end close, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Develop custom Workday reports utilizing advanced, matrix and composite reports.
• Validate report accuracy and troubleshoot data discrepancies.
• Analyze complex financial data and recommend reporting improvements.
• Support accounting compliance with GAAP.
• Assist with Workday upgrades, testing, and report validation.
• Document report logic and maintain reporting standards.
• Train end users on Workday reporting functionality.
• Collaborate with operational areas on system enhancements and integrations.

Workday Report Writer Analyst

Position Summary

The Workday Report Writer / Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing reporting solutions within Workday to support cross-functional departments and business stakeholders. This individual will partner closely with Finance, HR, IT and operational leaders to deliver accurate reporting, dashboards, and analytics while ensuring data integrity and compliance with accounting standards.
