This role sits within Chatham’s People & HRIS team, a collaborative group of HR professionals dedicated to enabling and supporting our people and culture strategies. The team partners closely with business leaders and internal stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions across the employee lifecycle. As the Workday HRIS Consultant, you will work alongside HR functional leads, IT, and business partners to ensure our Workday platform supports the evolving needs of our global workforce.

In this role you will:

  • Serve as the functional and technical point of contact for Workday, including Core HCM, Absence, Talent/Performance, Benefits and Payroll.
  • Lead the planning, design, and execution of system enhancements, configurations, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with HR and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and implement end-to-end solutions that improve business processes and user experience.
  • Manage Workday security roles, business processes, and data integrity.
  • Drive system testing, upgrades, and patch implementations in coordination with technical teams.
  • Support HRIS-related projects, including change management, communications, and training efforts.
  • Provide operational support, troubleshoot issues, and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to support business insights.

As the Workday HRIS Consultant, you will play a critical role in shaping how Chatham leverages Workday to support our people strategy. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of HR operations, enabling better decision-making and a seamless employee experience. You will partner with HR leaders, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure our systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational goals.

Contributors to your success:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; a degree in HR, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience in HRIS or a related technical field, with at least 2 years of hands-on Workday HCM experience.
  • Proven experience in system implementations, business process design, and project management.
  • Strong understanding of HR business processes and data governance.
  • Experience with Workday modules such as Absence, Talent/Performance, Benefits and Payroll.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
