Job summary

AccruePartners' Project Solutions practice is delivering a major Workday HCM implementation, providing technical ownership and oversight in a hands-on environment. You will collaborate with HR, payroll, benefits, talent, and recruiting stakeholders on a high-visibility rollout.

This role is a flexible, part-time engagement averaging 15 to 30 hours weekly, largely remote with periodic onsite in the Charlotte area.

Qualifications

• Workday HCM configuration and implementation experience.
• Knowledge of business process framework.
• Experience with reporting and system troubleshooting.
• Experience with Benefits, Time, Compensation, Talent, and Recruiting modules.
• Experience with benefits administration, enrollment workflows, and carrier files.
• Understanding cost-allocation requirements.
• Experience with integrations.

Responsibilities

• Review the implementation partner's work and validate system configuration.
• Identify potential gaps before go-live.
• Provide hands-on support with backend configuration, business process changes, reporting, integrations, and technical adjustments.
• Balance ongoing Workday administration with testing and implementation tasks.
• Support testing, go-live readiness, troubleshooting, and post-production stabilization.

• You will be joining AccruePartners' Project Solutions practice, partnering with a collaborative, mission-driven organization currently completing a major transformation from ADP Workforce Now to Workday HCM.
• Our Project Solutions practice supports clients across four core pillars: Enterprise Program & PMO Leadership; Business & Technology Enablement; Process Optimization; and Operational Readiness & Change Adoption.
• In this engagement, you will work closely with HR, benefits, payroll, talent, recruiting, compensation, and other key business stakeholders on a highly visible implementation.
• The internal team is already engaged and carries existing Workday knowledge, with a strong commitment to building sustainable internal processes.
• An experienced Workday implementation partner is supporting the broader deployment, and this consultant will provide additional technical ownership and oversight in a hands-on environment where team members are encouraged to jump in, solve problems, and work collectively toward a successful launch.
