Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a Project Manager, Finance Systems Delivery to lead multiple Workday Financials initiatives in Grand Rapids. You will guide planning, design, deployment, and stabilization while aligning with finance, IT, and business leaders.

You will drive scope, schedule, and adoption, ensuring compliant, auditable processes and stakeholder readiness across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or related field.
  • 5–8 years of project management experience leading ERP or large‑scale financial systems initiatives.
  • Experience integrating change management activities (communications, training, stakeholder engagement) into large enterprise system projects.
  • Workday Financials implementation experience strongly preferred (or Oracle/SAP).

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end Workday Financials implementation from planning through deployment and hypercare.
  • Build and maintain detailed project plans and budgets with milestones and resources.
  • Serve as central contact for stakeholders and steering committees; provide concise updates and executive reports.
  • Direct integration and data migration workstreams; ensure secure data movement and connections.
  • Incorporate Change Management activities into project planning to prepare teams for new processes.
  • Partner with Finance, HR, and business leads on communications and training plans.
  • Lead testing activities (unit, system, integration, user acceptance) and resolve defects.
  • Coordinate cutover planning, go-live, and hypercare for a seamless production transition.
  • Maintain RAID tracking, risk management, and contingency planning; ensure controls.

Job Summary

Acrisure is seeking aProject Manager, Finance SystemsDelivery to join our growing team in Grand Rapids. The Project Manager – Workday Financials will lead the delivery ofseveralofAcrisure’s enterprise-wide Workday Financials implementation and ongoing optimization initiatives. Reporting to the Vice President of Financial Systems Delivery, this role will guide projects from planning and design through deployment and stabilization, and continuous improvement. In addition to driving scope, schedule, and delivery, the Project Manager will incorporate change management activities to help ensure smooth adoption and stakeholder readiness across the organization. The Project Manager will partner closely with Finance, IT, and business leaders to ensure solutions meet operational and compliance needs, while also driving stakeholder engagement, adoption, and organizational readiness.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end Workday Financials implementation (General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Procurement, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, etc.) frominitial planning through deployment and hypercare.
  • Build andmaintain detailed project plans and budgets, setting scope, milestones, and resource assignments while managing dependencies and risks.
  • Serve as the central contact for stakeholders and steering committees, preparing concise updates, status reports, and executive-level presentations.
  • Direct integration and data migration workstreams to ensureaccurate, secure data movement and smooth connections with upstream and downstream systems.
  • Incorporate Change Management activities into project planning to prepare impacted teams for new processes and systems.
  • Partner with Finance, HR, and business leads todevelop communications, training, and stakeholder engagement plans that support readiness and adoption.
  • Lead testing activities—unit, system, integration, and user acceptance—ensuring thorough defect resolution and readiness for deployment.
  • Coordinate cutover planning, go-live execution, andhypercare to secure a seamless transition to production.
  • Maintain proactive risk, issue, and change-control processes, including RAID tracking and contingency planning.
  • Embed compliance and internal controls in solution design to meet accounting and audit requirements.
  • Support user adoption and training whileidentifying opportunities for continuous improvement and future enhancements.
Requirements
  • Solid understanding of core financial processes: general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, cash management, procurement; and related integration and data conversion practices
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, acquisition-driven environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and business audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship‑building skills to foster collaboration and drive consensus.
  • Mature problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, witha track record of anticipating and resolving challenges.
  • Strong time‑management skills and the ability to meet deadlines while balancing competing priorities.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 5–8 years of proven project management experience leading ERP or large‑scale financial systems initiatives.
  • Experience integrating change management activities (such as communications, training, and stakeholder engagement) into large enterprise system projects.
  • Workday Financials implementation experience strongly preferred (or other tier‑one ERP such as Oracle or SAP)
Pay Details

The base compensation range for this position is $118,000 - $180,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity. Candidates should be comfortable with an on‑site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross‑functional partnership.
