About Care.com

Care.com is seeking a Financial System Architect, Workday to further enhance our Workday ecosystem into a best-in-class platform. This role requires a broad understanding of cross-functional touchpoints within the Workday system to develop and deliver solutions for complex projects across multiple modules. The architect will ensure the timely release of deliverables, including administration, integrations, feature enhancements, reports, dashboards, and security, in collaboration with the Care.com infrastructure and third-party vendors.

This position focuses on post-production support (AMS), system optimization, and continuous improvement of Workday Financials and Adaptive Insights. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in these areas, ensuring smooth operation, timely enhancements, and strategic system improvements.

The role demands a strong technical and functional understanding of Workday Financials, Adaptive Insights, and their integrations with other financial platforms. Responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, implementing enhancements, managing integrations, and optimizing financial planning, reporting, and compliance processes.

Specific Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and improve Workday integrations and security models across the platform.
2. Perform hands-on system configuration and administration, including functional updates, business process/workflow setup, and security modifications based on business needs.
3. Develop, review, and update configuration documentation for change management and new implementations.
4. Support business requirements by analyzing options, providing recommendations, and developing technical and business solutions.
5. Analyze alternatives to determine the best solutions supporting business goals.
6. Troubleshoot issues related to integrations, reporting, data discrepancies, or incorrect actions.
7. Research emerging Workday technologies and methodologies to recommend improvements.
8. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment requiring quick and accurate task completion.
9. Adapt to frequent changes and prioritize tasks effectively.

Skills/Experience Requirements:

1. 5+ years of experience in Workday Financials and Adaptive Insights, with a focus on AMS/post-production support.
2. Strong technical and functional expertise in Workday Financial Management modules and Adaptive Insights.
3. Experience with Workday integrations such as EIB, RaaS, Studio, and API.
4. Knowledge of SOX, SOC2, and financial compliance frameworks.
5. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong communication and collaboration abilities across business and technical teams.
7. Workday Certifications in Financials and Adaptive Insights are preferred.
8. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field preferred.

Salary Range: $145,000 - $170,000

The salary range is indicative of the national range; actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, and performance. Additional benefits include bonuses, incentives, health insurance, life and disability coverage, 401(k) matching, paid holidays, and PTO.
