Job description

William & Mary seeks a Workday Financial Reporting Analyst to serve as the primary point of contact for finance reporting requests and to design, build, and maintain Workday financial reports and dashboards. The role creates standardized reports, provides end-user support, collaborates on multi-source analytics using tools like Qlik and Power BI, and helps establish reporting governance and data quality standards. This is a continuing, benefits-eligible position reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.

Key qualifications

• Working knowledge of financial statements, GL accounting, journal activity, and close processes
• Demonstrated ability to translate stakeholder questions into clear reporting requirements and deliver outputs on deadline
• Experience with at least one modern BI/data visualization tool (Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail with commitment to data accuracy, security, and documentation
• Experience developing reports in Workday or another modern ERP reporting platform
• Workday Financial Management reporting experience in higher education (preferred)
