**This is a remote position that requires travel 1 week each month to Kansas City office location.**

A fast-growing and dynamic organization is seeking a Workday Financials Manager to lead the strategy, optimization, and administration of its Workday Financial Management system. This role will serve as the subject matter expert and key partner to Finance and IT leadership, supporting both day-to-day operations and broader system transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the system owner for Workday Financials, including configuration, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
• Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to optimize processes across GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Procurement modules.
• Lead Workday Financials projects, including new module implementations, system upgrades, integrations, and reporting initiatives.
• Oversee data integrity, user permissions, and security configuration.
• Design and deliver training, documentation, and support resources for business users.
• Identify and drive continuous improvements to financial systems and related processes.
• Collaborate with external Workday partners or consultants as needed.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and data governance standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience working with Workday Financials, including hands-on configuration and support.
• Deep understanding of core financial business processes and accounting principles.
• Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Workday certification preferred but not required.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience implementing or optimizing modules such as Workday Procurement, Expenses, or Projects.
• Exposure to reporting tools such as Workday Prism, Adaptive Planning, or other BI platforms.
• Experience in multi-entity or franchise-based environments is a plus.
