Job summary

A leading company is looking for a Workday Financial Accounting / FDM Consultant to join their team on a long-term contract. This role involves leading the design of the Financial Data Model, managing multi-currency conversions, and delivering scalable Workday solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Workday financials, possess the required certification, and demonstrate a proven track record in financial reporting strategies.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years experience with Workday Financials, preferably in a consulting or lead role.
• Proven success in full-cycle Workday Financial implementations.
• Strong knowledge of GL structure and allocations.

Job Description:

The Planet Group’s direct end-user client is seeking a Workday Financial Accounting / FDM Consultant to join them on a Long-Term Contract opportunity!

Key Responsibilities & Required Skills:

• Lead and support the design and configuration of the Financial Data Model (FDM)
• Manage multi-currency general ledger conversions and related financial processes
• Develop and implement allocation models and financial reporting strategies
• Configure accounting business processes aligned with client-specific requirements
• Partner closely with client teams to deliver scalable, best-practice Workday Financials solutions

Qualifications:

• Workday Financials certification required (with emphasis on FDM/ Financial Accounting)
• 5–7 years of experience with Workday Financials, preferably in a consulting or lead role
• Proven success in full-cycle Workday Financial implementations
• Strong knowledge of GL structure, allocations, multi-currency, and financial reporting
