Job summary

UL Research Institutes and UL Standards & Engagement is seeking a Workday Report Writer (FIN) in Evanston, IL to design, develop, and maintain finance reports and dashboards. You’ll translate requirements into precise reports, manage updates, and ensure data accuracy while supporting decision-making across organizations.

You'll collaborate with Finance, HR, and IT teams, stay current with Workday updates, and uphold data governance.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, calculated fields, and visualization using Workday reporting tools (Workday Report Writer, Report Designer, Prism Analytics).
• Strong understanding of Finance processes and data structures.
• Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to generate insights from data.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement custom Workday reports and dashboards.
• Translate business requirements into actionable reports by interpreting data sources and stakeholder needs.
• Configure and update reports, including Worktags, Ledger Accounts, and Revenue Categories.
• Validate data accuracy and maintain data governance in reporting outputs.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and HR to align reporting with organizational goals.
