Job summary

UL Research Institutes and UL Standards & Engagement in Evanston, IL, invites a Workday Report Writer (FIN) to design, develop, and maintain finance reports and dashboards using Workday tools. You will translate business requirements into actionable insights for GL, AP, AR, and FP&A processes.

You will collaborate with Finance, IT, and HR, ensuring data governance, accuracy, and timely reporting while staying current with Workday updates and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Prior experience with Workday is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement custom reports and dashboards in Workday using Workday Report Writer, Report Designer, and Prism Analytics.
• Translate business requirements into accurate, actionable reports by interpreting data sources and stakeholder needs.
• Execute standard operations updates including creating and modifying Work tags, Ledger Accounts, and Revenue Categories.
• Configure Spend Categories, Cost Centers, and Organizations across Workday and Adaptive.
• Validate and reconcile data to ensure accuracy and reliability of report outputs.
