We are partnering with a leading enterprise healthcare organization that is continuing to invest in and expand its Workday environment. They are looking for an experienced Workday Finance Principal Analyst to join their Information Solutions team and play a key role in supporting, optimizing, and enhancing the Workday Finance platform.

This is a great opportunity for an established Workday Finance professional who wants to work on a sophisticated enterprise environment and have a meaningful impact beyond day-to-day support. You will be responsible for analyzing business and system requirements, developing and configuring solutions, resolving complex issues, and identifying opportunities to improve processes and functionality across the Workday Finance platform.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as a senior functional resource for Workday Finance.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution of complex Workday issues.
• Design, configure, test, and implement system enhancements.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and develop effective Workday solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, functionality, and the overall use of Workday.
• Support the introduction of new functionality and ongoing platform enhancements.
• Partner with technical teams and other Workday specialists on cross-functional initiatives.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of business processes and best practices.
• Help shape the continued evolution of the organization's Workday Finance environment.

What we're looking for:

• Strong hands-on experience with Workday Finance in a configuration, implementation, or production support environment.
• A solid understanding of Finance business processes and how they translate into Workday.
• Experience independently investigating and resolving complex Workday issues.
• Experience working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting or enhancing an enterprise Workday environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.

Preferred experience:

• Workday Pro certification or relevant Workday implementation certification.
• Experience working for a Workday implementation or consulting partner.
• Background within healthcare, higher education, or another complex enterprise environment.
• Experience with business process improvement, testing, and deployment of Workday enhancements.
• Willingness to work toward Workday Pro certification following hire.
