Position Summary

The?Workday Finance Consultant?partners with colleges and universities to help them fully leverage the Workday ecosystem, providing tailored financial solutions that meet client needs. We are currently building out our Workday practice and are looking for candidates who are passionate about driving impact in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes and identify opportunities for optimization within Workday Finance.
• Configure and support Workday Finance functionality to meet client needs.
• Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills to implement Workday Finance modules.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and guidance on how to best utilize Workday’s capabilities to meet strategic financial objectives.
• Support the design and configuration of client Workday systems, customizing workflows and interfaces to enable financial strategies.
• Provide training to end-users and technical support teams to ensure seamless adoption and usage of the Workday platform.
• Stay up to date with Workday Finance best practices and emerging trends.
• Help implement and maintain client Workday systems effectively.
  
  

Qualifications

• 3+ years of functional experience in Workday Finance.
• Workday Finance certifications are preferred in areas such as Record to Report, Business Assets, Banking & Settlement, and/or Foundational Data Model.
• Proficiency in Workday Finance modules, such as Record to Report, Business Assets, Banking & Settlement, Foundational Data Model, and focusing on general ledger, asset accounting, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting structures.
• Ability to quickly gain an understanding of Workday Finance concepts as new features are released.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Higher education experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to travel for client engagements and internal business needs.
