Job Overview

The Workday Data Conversions Consultant will handle deployment and post-production data conversion tasks, managing projects, cases, and modifications across various clients and domains. Key attributes include active listening, effective communication, responsiveness, multitasking, and consulting on data conversion solutions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of client data conversions into Workday HCM/FIN, from kickoff to closure, including data gathering, transformation, mapping review, load, and QA.
• Transform and map client data using proprietary Strada ETL tools, SQL, Excel, Alteryx, or VB.
• Perform data integrity checks and load data into Workday using iloads, EIBs, or APIs.
• Build and migrate custom reports and conduct comprehensive QA comparing validation outputs against client data files.
• Identify and resolve defects during client validation.
• Ensure timely, high-quality deliverables under challenging schedules.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects efficiently.
• Create advanced reports using Workday Report Designer (BIRT) and contribute to knowledge sharing via SharePoint.
• Develop into a subject matter expert and potentially lead multiple projects, overseeing requirements, design, and implementation.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant Workday experience; Workday certification preferred.
• 2-3 years of practical experience in data integrity and reporting.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and adapt to change.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 35%.
• Workday certification, if not held, must be obtained.
