Job summary

Prophecy Technologies Corp. is seeking a senior Workday Compensation specialist to lead and configure Core and Advanced Compensation, integrating Benefits and other modules within multiple client environments.

You will drive requirements sessions, implement configurations, and test changes with a focus on Workday best practices, ensuring successful deployments and ongoing AMS support across client environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years total experience in HRIS/Workday.
• 4+ years working on Workday implementations.
• Experience as a functional lead on at least two Workday HCM deployments.

Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and provide configuration support for Workday Core Compensation, Advanced Compensation, and related Benefits processes.
• Facilitate requirements discussions with client process owners and translate needs into detailed functional and solution specifications.
• Configure and test functional changes in Workday Compensation modules; participate in configuration solutioning and testing independently or with a team lead / project manager.
• Support Workday Compensation business process setup and validate design and configuration outcomes.
• Provide ongoing AMS configuration support, troubleshoot issues, and support business users across multiple client environments.
• Collaborate with Benefits, Payroll, Core HCM, and Security to ensure integrated solutions.
• Track issues and risks, communicate progress, and escalate concerns in a timely manner.
• Work effectively with geographically dispersed teams and provide guidance and support as required.

• Configure and test functional changes in Workday Compensation modules; participate in configuration solutioning and testing independently or with a team lead / project manager.
• Support Workday Compensation business process setup and validate design and configuration outcomes.
• Provide ongoing AMS configuration support, troubleshoot issues, and support business users across multiple client environments.
• Collaborate with related workstreams, including Benefits, Payroll, Core HCM, and Security, to ensure integrated and effective solutions.
• Track issues and risks, communicate progress, and escalate concerns in a timely manner.
• Work effectively with geographically dispersed teams and provide guidance and support as required.

Required Skills & Experience

• At least 7 years of total experience, with a minimum of 4 years working on Workday.
• Strong hands-on functional and technical knowledge of Workday Core / Base Compensation and Advanced Compensation (mandatory).
• Experience as a functional lead on at least two end-to-end Workday HCM deployments.
• Configuration support experience for approximately 3–4 AMS clients covering Base and Advanced Compensation.
• Ability to configure solutions to specification, facilitate requirements sessions, and apply Workday best practices.
• Hands-on experience configuring and testing compensation-related changes and setting up Workday business processes.
• Understanding of integrations and dependencies with Benefits, Payroll, Core HCM, and Security.
• Strong delivery focus, sense of urgency, leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Workday Compensation or Advanced Compensation certification.
