As a Workday FINs R2R/FDM Lead, your primary responsibilities include:

  1. Manage teams in identifying business requirements, designing functions, processes (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures.
  2. Formulate planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting strategies.
  3. Develop statements of work and client proposals.
  4. Develop and manage vendor relationships.
  5. Lead workshops for client education.
  6. Manage resources and budgets on client projects.
  7. Serve as the escalation point for critical functional issues.
  8. Provide subject matter expertise for decision-making related to the functional solution.
  9. Lead, mentor, and manage performance metrics of project staff.
  10. Conduct working sessions to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements.
  11. Architect Workday Financials R2R solutions, ensuring cohesive work streams and mitigated cross-functional impacts.
  12. Advise clients on industry standards and best practices.
  13. Understand and apply Workday and Accenture methodologies.
  14. Provide status updates to the Project Manager and keep them informed.
  15. Demonstrate strong client and stakeholder management to achieve project objectives.
  16. Ensure clients leverage Workday best practices.
  17. Support innovation through creating new industry-leading methods and assets.

Requirements include:

  • Workday Financials Partner Certification
  • At least 3 years of consulting experience in a Lead or similar role
  • At least 3 years of hands-on Workday Financials experience
  • At least 3 years of US and/or Global Financials Operations experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years; 6 years if an Associate’s Degree)

Bonus points for proficiency in multiple business processes, leading global or LE Workday engagements, experience with other cloud-based SaaS financial applications, or an advanced degree.
