Job description

As a Workday Extend Integrations Developer Consultant, your primary responsibilities may include:

  1. Design, build, and support testing of Workday Extend applications based on client requirements, considering functional, security, technical, performance, quality, and operational aspects from development to deployment.
  2. Lead client discovery and design assessment sessions to creatively implement requirements by leveraging Workday cloud platform features, focusing on Workday Extend, integrations, and custom reporting across Human Capital Management, Financial, Supply Chain, and Student areas.
  3. Contribute to Accenture’s Workday Extend Community of Practice to enhance development and delivery methods globally.
  4. Lead vendor (internal/external) design sessions to ensure adherence to program timelines and deliverables.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet client objectives for Workday Extend deployment, emphasizing usability, functionality, and performance.
  6. Apply an innovative mindset to design solutions that address complex business needs.

Travel may be required, varying from 0 to 100% based on business needs.

Here's what you need:

  • Workday Extend and Studio Certifications.
  • At least 2 years of consulting experience, recent in a Workday Extend developer role.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Extend components, scripting, orchestrations, Studio, EIB, and third-party coding.
  • 2+ years of Workday implementation experience, preferably with Workday Extend/Cloud platform.
  • Knowledge of web services (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML), scripting (JavaScript, Java, Python), and API architecture.
  • Experience leading implementation teams, focusing on Platform-as-a-Service and custom web applications, especially within HCM, Financials, Supply Chain, or Student modules.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (minimum 6 years). If an associate's degree, at least 4 years of work experience.

Bonus points if:

  • Workday Orchestrate Certification.
  • Workday HCM or Financials certification.
  • Proven application development experience.
  • Understanding of functional-technical touchpoints across Workday modules.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, proficiency in Excel, Visio, MS Project, PowerPoint.
