Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Workday Adaptive Planning Engineer to design, build, and maintain financial planning and forecasting solutions. The role partners with FP&A, Accounting, and Finance Systems to translate planning requirements into scalable Adaptive Planning models.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement: three days onsite and two days remote in Rockville, MD, with benefits for W2 consultants including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and life insurance. Rate is $65–$75/hr W2.

Qualifications

• 3 years configuring and maintaining Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Solid understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Experience integrating Adaptive Planning with Workday Financials or other systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain Workday Adaptive Planning models, sheets, and dimensions for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Build and maintain data flows between Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning to ensure accurate loading.
• Build dashboards and reports to provide visibility into plan versus actuals and forecast accuracy.
• Document model design, data flows, and configuration for continuity and knowledge transfer.
• Provide production support during planning cycles, including month-end and budget season.
