Western Nevada College is seeking a part-time Admissions & Records Work Study to greet customers, answer calls, and perform clerical tasks across the A&R office and campus. The role supports transcript input, document handling, and general office duties for WNC students.
Eligibility requires Work Study funds and a minimum enrollment of 6 credits per regular semester, with specific summer and academic progress requirements. Schedule is flexible, with 20 hours/week full‑time equivalence possible.
The Admissions & Records Work Study provides support to the A&R office, WNC students and the entire WNC campus. The A&R Work Study is often the first person a new student has contact with when coming to WNC. The position supports the A&R office by greeting customers, answering phone calls, giving directions, answering questions, inputting transcripts, and other clerical duties. The Admissions & Records Work Study is an important part of the A&R office and contributes to the overall success of WNC.
In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed, this position requires applicants to have been awarded Work Study funds. Work study funds are based on your eligibility determined by the FAFSA and are awarded as part of your Financial Aid package. Experience in customer service is a plus but not mandatory.

Continued employment is contingent on maintaining eligibility. If a student’s eligibility changes, their role may be subject to termination and/or they may be temporarily required to remain off work. If students’ eligibility is on hold pending the results of an appeal, students are required to remain off work until the appeal has been satisfactorily resolved.
