Duplantis Design Group is seeking a dedicated individual to investigate and resolve citizen complaints regarding public works in Baton Rouge. The role involves inspecting sites, maintaining logs of activities, and ensuring safety measures are in place. Ideal candidates should have a high school diploma and two years of relevant experience, alongside strong communication skills and the ability to deal diplomatically with the public.
Candidates must possess a valid Louisiana driver's license and be able to navigate various project sites efficiently.
Under the direction of a higher classification, performs responsible fieldwork in the investigation and resolution of citizen oriented complaints. The employee of this classification is responsible for investigating, handling and resolving numerous complaints and problems (such as drainage and transportation related issues) submitted by City of St. George residents. Work is assigned orally and in writing and is reviewed while in progress and upon completion. Performs other work as requested.
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma, GED, HiSET, or equivalent certificate of competency; and two years of experience in public works construction, maintenance, or operational activities, or two years of experience in the investigation and resolution of complaints involving public works construction and maintenance.
SUBSTITUTIONS
Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must possess a valid Louisiana driver’s license at the time of appointment and must be maintained current throughout employment in this classification.
