Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

Serves as the primary customer service role in the department. Enter print orders received via email and web to print order entry. Answer phone and email inquiries and assist walk-in customers with paper and bindery options, delivery dates, and questions about departmental UPM numbers and account numbers. Research and identify previous jobs, enter data and create orders in the print MIS to create job jackets. Check the status of current jobs and file completed job jackets. Receive and transfer customer print files to departmental servers for processing. Contact customers to pick up completed jobs. Collaborate with other internal staff to discuss and plan upcoming jobs. Assist and fill in for the Senior Procurement Specialist as needed to order paper and other supplies (ink, printing plates, binding supplies, office supplies, etc.). Contact vendors to obtain quotes and pricing for non-contract supplies. Code and allocate paper for print jobs. Complete receipting for cash transactions. Assist with monthly and annual inventory.
