Job summary

Pike Corporation is seeking a Work Management Technician to support planning, coordination, and execution of utility work activities. This role connects field operations, project leadership, and customer stakeholders to ensure work is processed, tracked, and communicated accurately.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience with work management systems and scheduling is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel/Outlook/Word).
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Review, process, and manage incoming work requests within a work management system.
  • Create and distribute work packets to support field operations.
  • Gather and disseminate utility locate information for underground facilities.
  • Maintain accurate project records and update work status information.
  • Submit and track service requests as needed.
  • Communicate project updates and progress to supervisors and project teams.
  • Coordinate and maintain schedules for field crews.
  • Serve as a point of contact between field personnel, project leadership, and customer representatives.
  • Support operational efficiency by ensuring timely and accurate information flow.
