Job summary

SCL Family Home Provider in Kentucky is seeking compassionate individuals to host a person with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a loving, stable home. You will provide daily living support and companionship in a home environment.

As a caregiver, you will coordinate personal care, assist with meals and chores, monitor health needs, and share family activities, while benefiting from a guaranteed daily rate plus a monthly room and board stipend and tax advantages.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Age: 18+ years.
• Requirements: valid Driver’s License, active auto insurance, background check, and drug screening.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and ability to collaborate with support staff.
• Ability to pass home safety inspection and background check.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, welcoming home environment.
• Provide daily support with ADLs and household tasks as needed.
• Monitor and administer prescribed medications as directed.
• Empower the individual to develop life skills and independence.
• Include the participant in family activities and outings.
