Job summary

Salas O’Brien is seeking a lead for the Scorpius Accelerator asset management program in Mercury, NV. The role coordinates maintenance planning, field execution and supply chain activities to ensure safe, efficient asset performance across the project lifecycle.

Ideal candidates will have 5–10 years in engineering/industrial settings, strong communication, and experience with continuous improvement. This hybrid onsite position involves collaboration with engineering and operations teams and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Operations, or Business.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant engineering or industrial experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, processing plants, utilities, industrial facilities, metallurgy, or similar environments.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong communication and cross functional collaboration skills.
• U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
• Clearance and background checks may be required.
• Hybrid onsite work in Mercury, NV on the National Nuclear Test Site.

Job Summary

Lead work planning and execution activities supporting the Scorpius Accelerator asset management program. This position coordinates maintenance planning, field execution, supply chain activities, and work packages to ensure assets are maintained safely and efficiently throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications And Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Operations, or Business.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant engineering or industrial experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, processing plants, utilities, industrial facilities, metallurgy, or similar environments.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong communication and cross functional collaboration skills.
• United States citizenship is required for this role.
• All new hires must pass a federal background check and federal drug test.
• An ability to work hybrid onsite in Mercury, NV on the National Nuclear Test Site.

Preferred Experience

• DOE, NNSA, LANL, LLNL, or NNSS experience preferred.
• Active DOE clearance preferred but not required.

Travel

Occasional travel is expected to support project meetings and coordination with partner sites.

Compensation & Benefits

The expected base salary range for this role is $120,000 - $160,000 USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
