Job summary

Navarro Research and Engineering in Los Alamos, NM is seeking a Work Control Planner 2 to develop and review work packages, including time, material, and labor estimates, step-by-step instructions, procedures, and safety and testing requirements for operations, maintenance, or modification within a facility.

The role supports planning across mechanical, electrical, chemical, and radiological equipment, resolves work restraints, and drives packages to final closure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to obtain DOE Q Clearance is required.
• US citizenship is required due to government contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develops and/or reviews work packages including time, material, and labor estimates, written step-by-step work instructions, procedures, and/or safety and testing requirements for the implementation and control of operations, maintenance, or modification of work activities within a facility or area.
• Plans work activities related to mechanical, electrical, chemical and/or radiological equipment, policies, and procedures and resolves work restraints and brings work packages to final closure.
