Advocate Health in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide patient care for employees and dependents, travel to limited sites, and work day shift with no weekends. Requires PA or NP degree, NC licensure, NCCPA or NP board certification, and 1+ year in primary/urgent care. Independence in ordering tests and treating patients is expected.

Provide patient care services to employees and dependents (ages 2+) of a specific employer by independently and interdependently scheduling, supervising, and/or conducting complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures; independently participate in the delivery of direct patient care within the scope of individual authority granted by the North Carolina State Boards of Medical Examiners and/or Nursingwith departmental specific credentialing from the institution.
Required to travel to limited sites in Winston -Salem, NC (Forsyth County)
Day shift (8-4:30p tentative schedule), no weekends, no major holidays
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program, master's degree preferred
- Graduation from accredited Nurse Practitioner Master's Program, master's degree or higher required
- Minimum of one year of experience in a primary care or urgent/emergent care environment
- Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License
- Certified by NCCPA
- Current North Carolina Board of Nursing Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license
- Board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by AANP or ANCC
