Job summary

Utah’s Promise is seeking a WordPress Front-End Developer to build, maintain, and optimize websites across our ecosystem using Bricks Builder. You will translate design concepts into responsive, accessible digital experiences and collaborate with designers and stakeholders to improve usability, analytics, and conversions.

Ideal candidates blend technical skill with design thinking, delivering polished sites that look great and perform even better.

Qualifications

2+ years of professional WordPress development experience.
Demonstrated experience with Bricks Builder.
Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, accessibility, and responsive design.

Responsibilities

Develop/update custom WordPress websites using Bricks Builder.
Transform design mockups into responsive, pixel-perfect web experiences.
Apply UX/UI best practices to improve navigation, usability, accessibility, and engagement.
Build reusable templates and dynamic layouts within Bricks.
Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to refine user flows and interface designs.
Optimize websites for performance, accessibility, SEO, and Core Web Vitals.
Ensure consistent experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Conduct usability improvements based on analytics and feedback.
Integrate custom fields, dynamic content, forms, and third-party services.
Troubleshoot front-end issues and provide maintenance.
