Base pay range
$55.00/hr - $65.00/hr
Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive WordPress Developer to provide ongoing maintenance and support for a WordPress website. This is a fully remote role, critical to ensuring the site remains secure, functional, and up-to-date. The ideal candidate will have strong front-end and back-end development skills, with a keen eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates regularly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues arising from updates).
- Ensure all site features, including CTA buttons and forms, remain fully functional after updates.
- Perform routine site audits to ensure optimal performance, security, and user experience.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement minor content or design updates as needed.
- Maintain backups and implement recovery solutions in case of site failure.
- Optimize site speed and performance using best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience with WordPress development (front-end and back-end).
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Understanding of website performance metrics and optimization techniques.
- Ability to work independently and respond quickly to urgent issues.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
