Base pay range

$55.00/hr - $65.00/hr

Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive WordPress Developer to provide ongoing maintenance and support for a WordPress website. This is a fully remote role, critical to ensuring the site remains secure, functional, and up-to-date. The ideal candidate will have strong front-end and back-end development skills, with a keen eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates regularly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues arising from updates).
• Ensure all site features, including CTA buttons and forms, remain fully functional after updates.
• Perform routine site audits to ensure optimal performance, security, and user experience.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement minor content or design updates as needed.
• Maintain backups and implement recovery solutions in case of site failure.
• Optimize site speed and performance using best practices.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience with WordPress development (front-end and back-end).
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Understanding of website performance metrics and optimization techniques.
• Ability to work independently and respond quickly to urgent issues.
