Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of WordPress development experience, including child theme customization.
• Ability to translate Figma designs into responsive, accessible sites using best practices.
• Experience writing custom PHP code and extending WordPress capabilities; familiarity with PHP shortcodes is a plus.
• Commitment to clean, well-documented, maintainable code and ongoing learning.

Responsibilities

• Implement semantic CSS via child theme stylesheets and avoid brittle builder classes.
• Develop custom PHP shortcodes/functions and document logic with security best practices.
• Translate Figma designs to functional, responsive websites across breakpoints.
• Optimize websites for Core Web Vitals, minification, and efficient asset loading.
• Ensure all builds meet WCAG accessibility standards.
