Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Machine Operator for a facility in Vance, Alabama. The role involves setup, operation, and tending of woodworking machines, with CNC duties as needed.

The position is full-time, temp-to-hire, with a Monday–Friday schedule and $16.00 per hour pay. You must be mechanically inclined with prior machine operation experience, able to lift 50 lbs, and maintain attention to detail in a busy warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined and previous machine operation experience required.
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Longevity at previous employment with no job hopping or large gaps in employment.
• Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination to maneuver equipment in tight spaces and navigate busy warehouse environments.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, or tend woodworking machines, such as drill presses, lathes, shapers, routers, sanders, planers, and wood nailing machines.
• Cross-train on different machinery.
• Operate CNC equipment as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
