Qualifications

• Master of Music degree in Saxophone Performance, Woodwind Pedagogy, Commercial, or Jazz Studies.
• Ability to work in a team leadership setting and collaborate effectively.
• Ability to teach Musicianship and Aural Skills and to perform in a variety of styles (classical, jazz, rock, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Teach applied saxophone, ensemble coaching, woodwind techniques, and woodwind pedagogy.
• Provide direction and supervision for student performance groups (jazz combos, ensembles).
• Perform in Faculty and University ensembles as directed.
