Our product line includes 11 speaker models and 6 subwoofer systems—all precision-built in-house using advanced CNC technology and expert craftsmanship.
Position Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Wood Shop Production Manager to lead the fabrication of speaker and subwoofer cabinetry. This hands-on role combines technical woodworking expertise with leadership skills to drive shop productivity, quality, and efficiency. You’ll interpret detailed drawings, manage CNC and millwork operations, and oversee a small team to ensure premium product standards.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret technical drawings and translate them into build processes.
Set up and operate woodworking machinery (saws, planers, sanders, etc.).
Program and run CNC routers, ideally Multicam 5000 using EnRoute.
Fabricate and assemble custom cabinets, including jig setup.
Inspect and maintain quality throughout all phases of production.
Lead and train shop staff, manage schedules, and ensure safe operations.
Maintain equipment, enforce OSHA compliance, and promote a clean, organized workspace.
Qualifications
15+ years in woodworking, cabinetry, and millwork production.
Proficiency in CNC programming and machine operation.
Strong skills with hand tools, shop equipment, and custom fabrication.
Ability to read complex plans and perform material takeoffs.
Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and working on your feet throughout the day.
Preferred Experience
Familiarity with Multicam CNC routers and EnRoute software.
Background in loudspeaker cabinetry or acoustics-focused woodworking.
Experience creating custom jigs and managing small-batch production.
Education & Certifications
High school diploma required; trade school or college coursework a plus.
OSHA-10 Certification strongly preferred.
Solid math and geometry skills for 3D fabrication.
Additional relevant certifications are a bonus.
Salary: $85,000 – $100,000 (based on experience)
