Job summary

Seminole Hard Rock in Atlantic City is seeking a skilled carpenter to maintain and repair furniture and wood products across the property. Under supervision, you will adjust, repair, build, and maintain wood fixtures, shelving and cabinets in accordance with safety codes.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, constructing structures from wood, metal and wallboard, and keeping detailed logs. A positive, organized approach helps ensure clean, hazard-free work areas and smooth operations

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining wood products and furniture.
• Ability to build shelving and cabinets.
• Familiarity with building codes and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on wood products and furniture.
• Construct, repair and install wood, metal, and wallboard fixtures.
• Build shelving, cabinets, temporary structures and repairs to furniture.
• Maintain technical logs and record relevant data.
• Promote positive relations with guests and staff at all times.
• Keep work area clean, safe and hazard-free.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
